Kyle Lowry made Toronto Raptors history Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Lowry passed Morris Peterson on the Raptors all-time list for most three-pointers made with his 802nd successful shot from beyond the arc.

The Raptors’ starting point guard, who will compete in his third NBA All-Star game later this month, came into the game trailing Peterson’s record, which has stood since the 2006-2007 season, by two made shots.

Lowry tied Peterson’s record with consecutive baskets in the opening minutes of the game. His third three-pointer, which came at the 5:27 mark of the second quarter at Air Canada Center in Toronto, put him ahead of Peterson on the all-time list despite 196 fewer games played.
